TV Presenter Ria Hebden to debut on Sunday Morning Live with Sean Fletcher

BBC Broadcaster and Presenter Ria Hebden will be co-hosting Sunday Morning Live Sean Fletcher, making them the first ever mixed-race presenting panel on BBC daytime.

The news was announced on Ria Hebden’s official Instagram page. She wrote “Big news! I’m delighted to announce I’ll be presenting the new series of Sunday Morning Live on BBC One with @seanfletchertv starting Sunday 16th June at 11:30am! Exciting times ahead!”

This intriguing and engaging programme tackles the important and controversial highlights from the week and reflects on news from religion, politics and everything else in between.


Ria Hebden’s evolution and success as a presenter comes after her working on various initiatives and projects, such as ITV’s This Morning, Sunday Morning Liveon Mental Health Week, MOBO Awards Red Carpet, Royal Television Society Christmas Quiz with Sue Perkins and Anna Richardson and her own platform for Women in television: Wonder Women TV. Ria has worked in the media industry for over 10 years, and this next step for Hebden will not only be a fun one, but an exciting endeavour too, as this presenting gig will truly reflect the reputation of her having an extremely bubbly personality, immense positivity and utter passion as a broadcast journalist.

Ria definitely has the credentials of interviewing pave-making talent, such as CEO and Founder of MOBO Awards Kanya King CBE, Idris Elba, Sir Lenny Henry and late rapper Cadet.

This is the first time a mixed-race duo will be presenting a daytime series on BBC One. In a few hours, Ria Hebden will be debuting. Make sure you all tune in and support this very important time in BBC history.
