Skepta Drops the Video for 'Hypocrisy'
After taking a break from touring and planning for the BBK Takeover at the end of this month, Skepta gave his fans a video fot his latest song, Hypocrisy. In the recent couple of weeks, he has been setting up his own clothing brand Mains, which can be found at Selfridges.
The song was written and produced by Skepta and was first released on SoundCloud before the video dropped today. Skepta has frequently mentioned people talking down on his name online and once again, it's referenced in Hypocrisy. The grime sensation also sheds light upon the fact that he declined an MBE award - the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. It is an award that is given to those who make significant contributions to arts and science, which Skepta has showcased in the last couple of months. In the song, he says he rejected because he's "not tryna be accepted", which is what makes Skepta stand out even more - he thrives on his own individuality and strives to be the best possible version himself.
