Legendary Atlanta duo Outkast have been absent from the music scene since 2007. With this new announcement from beloved member Andre 3000, it seems like the group is the closest to being defunct as it's ever been. Last year, we were able to experience a handful of features from Andre to go along with four albums from his partner, Big Boi. Big Boi has been consistently doing his thing, but over the years it's been made clear that Andre just doesn't have his heart in music anymore. Whatever he is spending his time on now is uncertain, but we have to appreciate the genius that he has already blessed us with because every man has a choice.

Andre’s reemergence has been rumored many times throughout the years. We need to collectively stop begging him for another project because he has already given us his best. The music will be there forever, so it would be kind of selfish to be angry at a man for not longer doing what made us happy. Andre 3000 is living his best life by doing what he wants.
