Lonzo Ball Records Triple-Double In Lakers Summer Leage Game vs. Celtics
After Lonzo’s disappointing summer league debut against the Clippers on Friday, the 19 year old California native seemingly gave everyone a taste of what his dad has been talking about for so long. With his first triple double of his professional career and in only his second appearance for the Lakers something he never did at UCLA according to ESPN Stats & Info. It must have had LaVar and Magic purring.
Despite another loss this time to the Boston Celtics, with both Lonzo and Ingram already showing the chemistry that many had tipped to form the new dynasty at the Lakers. Lakers fans must be ecstatic that they made the trip. They have been out in full force since the Lakers summer league campaign tipped off. The game against the Clippers saw the arena erupt with noise upon Lonzo’s first touch of the ball and then again when he found Brandon Ingram to get his first assist of his Lakers career.
The Kings are up next for Lonzo and company on Monday where they will look to get their first victory of the season and Lonzo will be hoping to continue building on his performances.
