Jurassic World Sequel Gets New Title
The sequel to Jurassic World, unofficially titled Jurassic World 2, has finally been given a title: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The new title was unveiled by the Twitter page for Jurassic World(@Jurassic World) with a movie poster featuring the tag line "Life finds a way."
Actor Jeff Goldblum is set to reprise his iconic role as Dr. Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997). Both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their roles from Jurassic World. The rest of the main cast includes Toby Jones, B.D. Wong, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Rafe Spall, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, and James Cromwell.
Interest in the franchise is still sky high, with the latest installment Jurassic World raking in a worldwide gross of $1.67 billion, making it the fourth largest earning movie in history.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is currently scheduled to hit theaters on June 22, 2018.
