R. Kelly's Alleged Hostage Denies Being Held Hostage

Following the story BuzzFeed News broke on Monday morning about R&B singer -- R Kelly being involved in an "abusive cult", an interview with an alleged captive has surfaced.

Jocelyn Savage, 21, whose parents reported her kidnapped in the initial story has come out to speak on the matter in a video interview with TMZ. R Kelly issued a statement through his lawyer that he "unequivocally denies such accusations", his lawyer further commented that "he [R Kelly] is both alarmed and disturbed".

In the interview Savage states that she is "happy", but refused to disclose information of where she is located. She also makes a point in the interview to express that she is "not being brainwashed or anything like that" and she is "totally fine." She denies ever being held hostage as well as explaining the communication between herself and her parents saying, "I haven’t spoken to them in about five to six months, on and off".

What seems to be troubling people most is that this is not a new situation forR Kellybut a reoccurrence throughout the singer's career. Watch the full interview in the link below:
