Jay Z and Damian Marley Tour Bob Marley's Neighborhood in "BAM" Video

Fresh off the release of 4:44 and the birth of his twins Sir Carter & Rumi, Jay Z unveils an original video for one of his recently released tracks, “BAM.” Featuring Damian Marley and a timeless Sister Nancy sample, the track was undoubtedly a standout on the critically acclaimed album.

Throughout the video Jay Z walks the streets of Kingston, Jamaica and records "Bam" with Damian "Jr. Gong".

"The prophets in the beginning were musicians. They were poets, writers. That's what we've been tasked with in this life," Jay-Z says toward the beginning of the video. "We're whistles. The wind goes through us, we make noise."

The video is filled with stunning visuals, it alternates between Jay Z and Damian Marley exploring Kingston and footage of the pair laying down "BAM" at Tuff Gong Studios. Sister Nancy makes an appearance in the video.

"That's freestyle, 'Bam Bam.' I didn't write it," Sister Nancy tells Jay Z of the reggae classic.
