JAY-Z Confirms He and Beyoncé Worked on a Joint Album

Jay Z recently opened up about everything from his friendship with Kanye West to his marriage with Bey and his mother's sexuality in an interview with T Magazine. 

In the interview Jay Z opened up about his infidelity, a touchy topic he addressed on his latest album 4:44Between 4:44 and Beyonce's Lemonade, "we were using our art almost like a therapy session," he said, revealing he was "really proud of the music she made, and she was really proud of the art I released."

Jay was asked if him and Bey had a discussion about putting out their records and Jay Z responded, “It didn’t happen that way.... We were using our art almost like a therapy session. And we started making music together.”

Jay then went on to confirm that he and Bey worked on a joint album together around the time Lemonade dropped and that they "still have a lot of that music" that is unreleased.
